Berkshire sash window workshop
Bespoke sash windows, casement windows and doors are produced in-house at our sash window workshop in Reading, Berkshire. We are dedicated to producing custom made windows and doors to the highest possible standards. We can replicate any style of wooden window or period door and are specialists in double glazed sash windows. Our windows are glazed in the workshop with low-e double glazing or single glazing for conservation areas. We also paint sash windows before they leave, ensuring the work in your home causes as little disruption as possible.
Castellated, Gothic, round & other difficult sash window types that most other timber window companies can’t manage are our speciality. Accoya accredited workshop.

Liam was really responsive to our initial enquiry and visited to measure up and also provided some good advice and guidance. They both have a real eye for detail and their craftsmanship is excellent. We changed our minds on some of the window furniture and they even dropped by and changed these free of charge. We were all working or studying from home whilst they fitted the new windows and they were really considerate. We couldn’t recommend them highly enough and we are absolutely delighted with the end product.

03/03/2021Liam fitted replacement double glazed sashes to my property back and front and I have been delighted with them. I had old secondary glazing in the front which was ugly and did not do the job. I now no longer have condensation dripping down the windows and the house is quieter and warmer. After doing some research into specialist companies I am so pleased that I chose the Sash Window Specialist. Liam is very knowledgeable and the work carried out was done with the minimum of disruption. My new windows have transformed the house. Very happy with the Sash Window Specialists and would certainly recommend without hesitation.

Despite Covid restrictions they produced and fitted excellent sash windows on time and on budget. We would recommend their services to anyone looking for new or replacement sash windows.
