Bespoke Venetian sash windows fitted to a home in Thame, Oxfordshire. 

These new sash windows in Oxford were custom made to replace the old Crittal window frames.  The owner required more attractive and energy efficient windows to replace the old single glazed metal window frames.

Refurbishment work was also undertaken to the existing bay window and the upstairs double-hung window. The existing timber frames were repaired and retro fitted with double glazed sashes.  

Sash Window Specialist Berkshire, London & South designed and manufactured the bespoke Venetian double glazed windows to be in keeping with the property. Replacement double-hung sashes were copied from the originals, carefully matching the existing mouldings and sash horn shapes to ensure the architectural details were preserved.  

All joinery was made, glazed and painted at their sash window workshop in Reading using Accoya wood.  Accoya has a 50 year guarantee and is ideal to ensure that these modern sash windows will last a lifetime.  The double glazing units are all top quality with low-E glass and Argon gas filled.  Our integral brush window seals further improve the energy efficiency by stopping draughts.
