Draught Seal & Restore is our core door repair & recondition service and should be considered an essential upgrade for all existing period doors.
Our door recondition and draught sealing service will restore your heritage doors and french windows to proper working order, stopping rattles and controlling those intrusive cold draughts. By controlling the draughts we also reduce the airborne noise & dust being carried into your home.
Primarily draught strips seal the gaps where draughts enter, thereby improving the comfort & energy efficiency of your home. Low friction draught seals enable free movement of the door, yet are tight enough to eliminate intrusive rattles. Airborne noise, dust and other pollutants that are suspended within draughts are also greatly reduced.
We also supply & install authentic wooden replica doors and window panels into existing timber frames, paint finished and double glazed with energy efficient (low E) safety glass. Double glazing combined with our Restoration and Draught Seal procedure provides an obvious overall improvement to the comfort of your home.
Bespoke Replica Doors & French Windows
We carefully reproduce a copy of the original door or french window, paying close attention to moulding & sectional details. Single or double glazing available. Glazing bars can be either bonded with duplex bars or individual Slimlite sealed units.
